Heritage Bradford City Football Club Badges in classic designs
Bradford City Football Badges
  Enamel badges for collectors
with an interest in the history of Bradford football
  • A selection of unique and yet historically authentic badges based on original graphics and designs;
  • Strictly limited, minimum production quantities (as few as 15 in certain cases and many 50 or less) that will not be repeated;
  • High quality enamel products, produced by a traditional UK manufacturer (not Chinese imports of poor standard);
  • Classic designs in their own right and future City collectibles;
  • Profits donated to Bradford University Burns Unit and (from Jun-10) the Bantams Past museum at Valley Parade.

The commissioning of these badges has been in response to the poor choice and quality of contemporary Bradford City enamel badges based on historical themes. The badges are for collectors rather than for mass production and the selection of designs is aimed to fill existing gaps in collections of BCFC memorabilia. It means that every version of the Bradford City club crest since 1903 and every graphic character associated with the club is now available as an enamel badge.

Similarly the reproduction of historical badges ensures that long forgotten classic designs are made available. The policy of limited edition releases and quality manufacture is also intended to ensure that these badges become highly collectible.

Most of the badges are around 25mm in height (roughly equivalent to a 2p coin) and some are avilable as cuff-links. Prices are as stated with discounts for the purchase of sets (as stated). Cuff links are priced at £15 for one pair, £25 for two pairs or £30 for three pairs.

The first series was launched in Nov-09 and the second and third series became available in Feb-10. Subsequent series have already been manufactured and are in stock with the intention to be released in stages for general sale over the next year. A selection of badges has also been produced to accompany the forthcoming book GLORIOUS 1911 in celebration of the 100th anniversary of Bradford City’s solitary FA Cup victory.

Anyone wishing to secure complete sets can do so with a deposit. There are further releases of badges planned for the 2010/11 season, most of which will be minimum production runs of 40 to 50 only and the website will be updated so please revisit!
